Just got this album and it is that pure riff rock brilliance you'd expect from such a quality band.
Imagine every QOTSA album combined into one meaty package and add a mix of contributing musicians, Lullabies to Paralyse is the result.
I personally reccomend this album.
Even if you didn't like Songs for the Deaf.

Single is quite easily the worst track on the album. And yeah, Burn the Witch is fantastic, had that song in my head all morning.
It's weird, the riffs are all familar, catchy QOTSA-esque, but on a whole the album just feels like something completely fresh and new. Really enjoying it at the moment, a classic for sure.

I don't think the single is that brilliant but I'll maybe buy it if I see it.
Hearing Lanegan on the opening track sent a shiver down my spine...

IVe listened through once. I'd say its decent, but i'll need to listen a few more times. It takes 2 - 3 listens to get into an album, but it seems promissing.
