Ok, this is happening to somebody I know. They recently have had a new router installed, with built in firewall I assume. The two computers connect through this to the internet. They both connect, the only problem is as one signs into MSN, MSN decides to stop responding, for some unknown reason. It works fine on the other for some reason. I assumed installing MSN7beta would solve the problem, so they did, but apparently only made it worse. God knows how it did. So I was wondering if you guys had any ideas? I thought of system restore, but this has been happening for a while now, so dont want to risk information loss. Cheers

Well they're paying me to go round and fix it, but I have no clue what to do. I'll just end up messing with a few settings and getting paid for doing nothing.

7.0 Beta wont solve it, maybe the firewall is blocking it? try reducing the firewalls security state.
