Very controversial in my opinion, i like the series, but they are playing with the characters, trying to get you to sympothise with nathan barley, then making him say something awful, its messing with my mind.
ne way, the ending is like i said very contoversial, my mother watched it with me, and thourght it was sick because everyone thourght having a bj with a 13 yo girl is cool, howevor she doesnt understand the whole idiot concept as she has'nt been watching it.
what do you all think? watch it again tonight, or catch it for the 1st time tonight.
I wish Ashcroft didn't toss the guy off. Plus, Claire Ashcroft is more annoying than Barley.

I think The Bill did the whole ' main-character has affair with a thirteen yearold' about 2 years ago.

i thought this was worth repeating.
I was 13 at the time.

Exactly, and it wasn't new then either. There are plenty of comedy programmes that have flaunted what is considered taboo by the mainstream channels.

I was "lucky" enough to go out one night with a group of "lads", one of whom boasted that he'd slept with a girl who was 15, then they all fell about laughing like it was the best thing ever. I was 20 at the time, and they were older than me.

Not really...have you never seen Brass Eye?
