Just got this email: http://timmargh.net/files/050311-false-ebay-email.jpg and the links takes me here: http://timmargh.net/files/050311-false-ebay-google.jpg which all looks fine until you read the address - good ol' Safari.

I realised it was a scam as soon as I read the email (had them before) but this is the best looking one I've seen so far - it would fool a lot of people.

Considering that it doesn't cost anything to make an account in the first place (although never having used Ebay, I wouldn't know)

Using safari, I noticed I get a pop up from the address "hub.ebay.co.uk" asking for the login details; obviously a fake, but I don't get it through Firefox, which is weird.

But then why would ebay charge people $350 to reactivate a free account?

As always common sense prevails.
