I think we've exhausted all talking points really.

Even current events go round in cycles and end up about God it seems.

I've just lost interest in this place mostly.
Used to post here to kill time whilst I sat at a desk, staring vacantly at my watch waiting for 5.
It was a way to pass the time.
But now my time is free from lunch, and I've better things to do than argue about life with (mainly) teenagers that haven't experienced anything outside of educational institutions.

Not even the allure of GAD to entice decent posts/satire anymore. I come here to check out the PC/Xbox forums and occasional glances in here to see what moronity has been headwronged.
And it's the same old tangents round and round and round, and until I can cyberslaughter there's little point trying to point out to under15's why they can't talk about the world, life and everything

How about a topic about censorship then?

On the one hand, censorship is bad when applied for the wrong reasons.

But on the other hand, wouldn't you want to see things like kiddie porn banned?

Mm, used to find that with Goatboy at first. Quite a few things I'd write, still even now, would be attacked by him, and I'd find that very intimidating. It did however force me to challenge my own views, but has left me somewhat middle ground on subjects. Which may be a bad thing and down to self-confidence, or may be good, allowing me to stay mostly unbiased. I hope it's the latter.

There are only a few things that I really take one side and refuse to budge on, one of which includes censorship, as I cannot see how anyone can agree with censorship on any level. That's quite a good topic too actually... got the ideas, just not the effort to get them up as discussions.

Well, I know I'm going to leave well alone for a while. I'm not egocentric enough to believe that my near-constant argumentativeness is the sole cause of this forum going downhill, but I'm not blind to the possibility that it can be intimidating to speak your mind when someone is ready to tear you a new one for doing so.

I could go sign up with a new account and pretend I think all drug users should face the death penalty if you want.

Is getting a bit boring. Politics and ethics are my main things... religion gets a bit boring, but I would like to see something other than Christianity discussed here. I might make a few ethics topics at some point, got a few ideas.

Speaking as an unpleasant sadist, I used to enjoy battles of wits with unarmed people such as Bell, Forest, and kevstar (skarra was bright enough, he was just incapable of thinking in any terms other than "New Labour are wonderful and always right").

Seems they all preferred going somewhere where they could let their idiot prejudices remain intact, rather than engage in any sort of thinking.

I find myself having more fun taking a dump than reading this forum now.
