There was an article in the paper about GCSEs. The reporter's son is doing GCSE spanish and has just done his Listening exams. The reporter goes to his son "how was the exam". The boy lowers his head... but not because he did badly, but instead that it was "so pathetically easy". This was the highest level of spanish, yet the people spoke with such slow voices and elementary vocabulary that anyone could do it... even if they had never had a lesson in spanish! To prove this, the boy gave an example of a standard question. The tape said:
"Ma ambision es por los Olympios"
(or something so similar to that...)
The paper then asked, in English, "Why does this athlete train every day?". Now, I never did Spanish... but I could have got an A*!
This is from the NEAB exam board... anyone actually take this exam? If so give me some other example questions!

Chemistry tommorrow, two exams in a row, thats a bit unfair.
I am damn good at Chemistry but got to full of myself and did not study :O, now I may fail :(
