So here's what I've been up to.
Working - woo ha, yes, work. You'll all be stuck in an office some day yourselves, don't mock me yet (unless you're Goatboy, he's already had a midlife crisis and left, last I heard he was cruising around in a red van with a black and white cat... Does anyone smell a new "Confessions" film? Confessions of a Postman anyone? No? Aw, you kids and your MTV)
Climbing - yes, well, The Wal decided he fancied it so I tagged along. Simple indoor wall climbing, the Berghaus Wall it's called. Ironic because as well all know, the sort of people who wear Berghaus are the least likely to be in there. It's all toffs, students and guys who just walk around with their shirts off without even climbing anything. We were terrible, in our jeans and trainers, then we invested a bit in some shoes, some chalk and all the other stuff that makes us look like we know what we're doing, and the other day I conquered one of the hardest walls, the one I've seen people who actually know what they're doing struggle with. Huzzah. Now I'm going with a mate from work, who's really good at it (the bar-steward) and some radgies came in the other day, just passing through, and one piece of pond scum decided to try and climb something. Yes, he was wearing a Berghaus. Then a member of staff dragged him off and threw them all out. Lovely.
Gaming - KOTOR 2 and Mario Power Tennis, two gaming gems that are eating my life away right now. And I still have Half Life 2, Halo 2, PES4, Battle for Middle Earth, Rocky Legends, SmackDown vs RAW, Pirates, Far Cry and now even Red Alert (5 quid in HMV, since my mates lost my original CDs years ago) to play and complete. I was just playing Mafia before, it's still an amazing game.
DVDs - which I prefer to games, and I must be north of 250 by now. The other day I decided to watch my recently purchased Halloween, so imagine my horror (no pun intended) when I opened it and, instead of the film and a bonus disc, it contained two copies of Halloween 2. Which meant I had to rummage through my wheelie bin for the bag with the receipt in because some ugmo from HMV can't read. And it'll be Wednesday at the earliest that I can take it back. I can imagine the conversation now.
"Yes, someone put the wrong disc in, I'd like Halloween and the bonus disc. Here's the receipt."
"You bought this over two weeks ago... And you only noticed now?"
"Yes, well, some of us are too busy to check. When I buy a bottle of water I don't do a lab experiment on it to make sure it's h2O before I drink it."
Bah.
That's it for your MoJo fix this week. Oh wait, there was no real mention of The Wal et al, so I'll just say Wal swung by mine last night at 11pm and we drank Carlsberg and played Mario Tennis until our fingers seized up. Happy?
"Hi, I bought this not long ago and it's got the wrong discs in. It has Halloween 2 instead of Halloween and the bonus disc"
"OK, would you like another one?"
*slight shocked silence*
"Er... yeah, please."
Didn't even show her the receipt. Though it did still have the "BUY ONE GET ONE FREE or as priced" sticker on. And it looked a bit banged up after being in my bag when I went climbing last night.
She came back, looking inside a case; that one must've had the wrong ones in too because she looked confused and went back the shelf again. Huzzah, this one had the proper discs.
I said it looked a bit battered after being in my bag, but I'm looking at the new one I got and it looks even worse. So it's not just me then.
*s"wol"lows*
But look ... it's a chat forum, no-one's pronouncing anything. Amazing!
I pour my heart out for you people.
And for what? And for nothing.
*spits*

It's pronounced "wol" as in "Walsh" (his name) but thanks for trying.
"You wrote a SvR walkthrough.
I hate you"
Er... you're welcome?

There's lots to hold onto.
