I haven't laughed that hard at a telly moment in absolutely ages, it was priceless. I won't spoil it if you didn't see it, but it involves a cat, a barbers and a pair of scissors.

Excellent episode, thoroughly enjoying this series, despite much trepidation beforehand. Still think it would have been more relevant (and funnier) maybe three or four years ago, when those fat-handed twerps were still riding their little scooters up and down the street. T***s.

Because it's centred around the whole idiot culture, Nathan being a prime example. And he + culture = egomaniacs, so of course the show if going to be named after him.

I read in a few places that they were calling it "Box of Slice". Obviously they changed it for some reason. It's a bit odd naming a programme after the main character.

I'm warming more to Ashcroft that Barley, found myself smiling when Dan told Nathan that the whole Geek Pie thing was a set-up...

To be honest, the Scissors and the cat bit wasn't as funny as I had expected it to be, but funny none-the-less.

I'm yet to see why this program's called 'Nathan Barley' and not 'Dan Ashcroft'....

this was the first episode of nathan barley i'd seen and i have to say i don't see what the fuss is about. the whole "supercool" thing is a nice idea, but it all feels a bit "written by an art student. an art student that watched As If quite a lot"

but the scissors in the cat was definitely funny :)

*Slow claps*

Thankfully this week I had the common room to myself for most of it, so no one heard me laughing like a jackal's inappropriate pal to myself at what was by far the funniest bit this week.

"Dajve Bikinus is gonna be there."
"Who's he?"
"She."

Are you talking about Nathan Barley because a cat had scissors stabbed in it on that!

Brooker. No more needs to be said. Morris has a back seat on this one.
