...I ordered tickets for this years British GP and now I'm like a kid at Christmas. This will be my first GP and I can't wait. So has anyone else been to one before, and what's it like?
Unfortunately not. I can't afford to go.

I've been to Silverstone quite a few times for the Grand Prix and Touring Cars. I usually pick Luffield and Woodcote, but I've had seats at Copse, Becketts, Abbey and Stowe over the years.
My first time was 93, I must have been about 11 at the time. What I most remember was the noise of the cars. I never realised how loud they were until I went there for the first time. I was at Copse that year, saw Michael Andretti slide off in front of us on the first lap.
It truly is an experience and I've never forgotten any of the times I've been before. I'm a little disappointed that the last time I went was in 2000 when it was held in April and all those muddy fields. Saw Barrichello spin in front of us at Luffield and splash around on the grass before retiring in the pits.

I'll have fun alright, I got seats on the hangar straight and that looks to be a good spot (if I remember right that's where the crazy priest ran along last year).
Hopefully I'll get a chance to get a couple of autographs too, I'd especially like my Limited Edition Ferrari signed by Shumi, but I reckon that'd be a long shot. Either way I'll still enjoy myself.
