The rumours are that Clive Owen is one of two people they are planning to have as James Bond in 'Casino Royale'. I thought his acting was terrible in 'King Arthur', but then i liked his part in 'Closer'. I can't really see him as a James Bond

He might be a little tall. But James bond would never be in captivity for 14 months like in D.A.D - so tratition is already out the window.

I saw Closer today. Clive Owen was great, mostly, and Jude Law was, as usual, a whiny pretnetious fork. I think Owen is too fat to play JB. Give it to me.

I don't think that James Bond should be played by a black person. I don't care if that sounds racist but James Bond is a white Britsh character and should therefore be played be a white British actor (or at least an actor that can act British).
It just wouldn't sound right for James Bond to say, "Yo, what's happenin' y'all". I might be sterotyping there but I'd bet almost anything that if a black person was given the role he'd be given many lines just like that.
