Just... ugh.
Imagine every horror movie cliche you've ever seen (old house out in the woods, disturbing neighbours, a cat in the cupboard etc) and add a now well past it De Niro mugging and gurning, and you've got a truly dreadful film. I was embarrassed watching it, to be honest.
The only redeeming feature was little Dakota Fanning, she's bloody brilliant to be honest, and she acts De Niro off the screen in every scene. That's arguably the world's greatest actor, out-acted by a little 10 year old girl. Shocking.
Probably one of the worst films I've seen this year, just glad I didn't pay to go see it.

I thought this was a good film...i was still working the plot out 3 days later (not because i am slow but because its a clever story). I am definately buying it when it comes out because i want to watch it through again because now i know who the Killer is i can watch it from another perspective and see how clever it is. I thought it was good acting by De Niro and Fanning but i wont put any Spoilers.

His comedies don't count. It's easy for a respected dramatic actor to be in a comedy, you just turn up and tell the jokes people have written for you - purely by playing a role 'against type' you can generate faint traces of humour. Hence Analyse This/That - a gangster with emotional problems, hilarious!

Analyze This was good and I also enjoyed The Score.
Yep. Pretty awful movie. I felt proud.. guessed the 'twist' quarter of a way through. :^) And little Dakota truly is an awesome actress. She's fantastic in I Am Sam, too.
Ronin was his last good film. 1998. I checked.
You didn't guess all that from the adverts?
De Niro is still the man.
