"Tyla:
lol... Another one of those words I'm never sure how to spell, and i refuse to open M$Word just to spell check on poxy word.
Phonetics suck!;)"
A useful application I've recently started using is tinySpell - a FREE spell checker that works in any application: http://www.megspace.com/computers/tinyspell/
At first I wasn't sure if it was any good, but after a bit of use and trying the different settings it's not too bad.
I have it turned off most of the time and just enable it when required (easy to do with keyboard shortcuts).
Top tip is to open the spelling window which "stays on top" and can be moved close to where you're typing.
Doesn't have an English dictionary so you have to teach it colour, tyre, optimise, etc.
Worth a look...
shouldn't have any excuse now for really dire spelling/grammatical errors now!:(
Took a little while to figure out how to use it!;)

It would have caught gramatical (grammatical)
;¬)
Now I just need a cure for "one word ahead in my head" syndrome, which tends to cause a lot of my spelling/gramatical errors as I'm always a word ahead from what I'm actually typing!
