Hi!
I've just been advised by helpdesk that I cannot import the official Twitter Widget into my website because it is javascript and not html. Does anyone know of a source of pure html for Twitter widgets, please?

FWIW - The widget doesn't seem very stable!

Seems to be working every other hour at the moment, the normal JavaScript widget does look more reliable...

Freeola InstantPro twitter example using Flash widget.

twitter JavaScript example

NB. You can't customise the MySpace version where with the normal widget you can change colours, size etc.

Hi, Previously I've replied saying I don't use/like twitter - well some of that's still true - but I do now have a twitter account to play with!

After some messing about I've found that you can get around the twitter JavaScript profile widget issue with InstantPro just by choosing the MySpace Flash based version.

See an example
Hope that helps...

Hi, and welcome to the forums!

Can't help with 'twitter' as that's not something I use(/like!).

BUT Freeola are developing a JavaScript Plugin for InstantPro sites:

" A plugin for the editor is in development to allow Javascript to be inserted anywhere in page content ".

Not sure about timescales - but it should be quite useful and would allow you to use the twitter code.
