It's a button basher the first time you play it and I suppose it doesn't have the huge combo's of traditional beat em ups but it's still incredibly skill full once you get good at it.

From manouvering to dodging attacks.

You'd have to play it for weeks to understand.

Smash brothers was just a button basher. No real skill required in this game. I was playing it today with my bro, and its still alright for a few laughs. shashing pikachu with a hammer, top quality.

true
WWF is killer on the N64,goldeneye was alot of fun on the multiplayer although i never did get the hang of that one,Timesplitters is made from the same people who did goldeneye although it's ALOT harder on the 1 player ,thats good on the multiplayer too.

The Snes is still one of my favourite consoles but i sold it a few years back but just incase you think i'm totally against Nintendo->Next to my Playstation 2 is a NES also hooked up through the scart, why you probably ask because I love 2D Platformers and I've got loads of classic platformers like the mega man and mario's. top stuff

Sure the 64 hast got any decent beat em ups, but it is the king of the multiplayer. best wrestling multiplayer in Wrestlmania 2000 (no mercy should have been better, if not for the slowdown). Best multiplayer shooter in Goldeneye. Best multiplayer racer in Mario kart ( the snes version would be better if 4 player)

The 64 is the best console to have with your mates round. Oh and u can play micro machines 8 player.

So do a lot of PS2 owners.

Resifan, you have to learn, whatever console there is, there'll always be prats who defend their console sl@g off others without really knowing what they're talking about.

At the moment, that's what many of us think about you. It's not too late to redeem yourself. In one or 2 other forums you've said a few things that shows you know a fair bit about the games market.

You just seem to have fallen for the indoctrination of playstation magazine/fans who have told you that N64 games are for kids only, shown you some cartoony graphics and you fell for it.

A few years ago I thought that the N64 was and obselete kids toy...

... then I played one and turned into a Ninty. :-)

some of you are really simple minded and don't really see anything passed your N64 magazine.

>I know this was "confirmed" for the gamcube like way way back but GT3 was "confirmed" to be released on 4th march 2000. Res evil 0 is heavily rumored to be a N64 release only.

>Why would i spend £30 for a game and buy a walkthrough book at about £9.99, I might as well buy a 64 if i want games to be easy. They spoil the whole game and are only bought by Ex-mario/waverace players who need a "helping hand".

>i can't believe that even a 64 owner can class doom64 as a good game.

>Play what you want,i'm off to my mates to "cash in" bets at tekken tag,I always win!!, and thats another thing the n64 lacks, fighting games.c ya
