They've taken Dylan's winsome nasal protest at nothing much, sung in a reedy voice with halfassed harmonica/acoustic guitar.
They've pinned his version down on the table, yanked it's pants down and spanked it with downtuned guitars and a bass so low it shakes my desk when it plays.
Never really explodes into the trademark redfaced, neckvein bulging fury of De La Rocha's fullthroated screaming - but is all the better for it, sure he still stamps his feet and sulks but instead of throwing his plate on the floor and slamming his bedroom door, he sneers and almost lets go but stops just short of his "yyyyeeeeaaAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH" anger.
Superb
All of their stuff is great.
Man, Rage just completely fill that nice little anger hole that appears in me every now and then. Calm Like A Bomb is quite fantastic when you want to let off steam.
Housin' is another good 'un of the Renegades album.
+ Ghost of Tom Joad is better.
