The classic platform characters
But which is best?
Is it Mario the red Italian plumber with his ability to grow when he's eatten magic mushrooms (isn't that illegal)
Or is it the great spikey one Sonic with his super speed and freaky friends (a fox with two tails *Tails* and a red creature with spikes on his hands *Knuckles*)
In my opinion it has to go to... the great spikey one Sonic

I like both. Sorry, but I just can't decide between them. As you say, the GBA should solve this problem bigtime, with the Gamecube hopefully following suit. The Dreamcast has Sonic 2 coming out soon, and if it's anything as good as the demo then it should be a fantastic game.
Sega have answered a lot of people's wishes by becoming a software developer for other consoles, now you really can have some of the best games characters and games together on one system.
One question, would it be Sonic vs Mario in a new game featuring both of them, or Sonic and Mario against both their enemies?

I played on Sonic more than Mario, and have never played Mario 64 so I have a biased opinion.

sonic will definatly appear on the game boy advance and more than likely the game cube, how kool!! mario vs sonic, now that would rule!!!
yes mario advance is a release day title but sonic the hedgehog blue thing with spikes is also going to be on his own game called sonic advance
