The design is perfect.

Nintendo put a lot of hard work into the controller, so I am going to go with clever design.

Neither. It looks EXCELLENT! :)

I can not imagine people over 50 years old playing games like Mario...but then again I can't imagine MANY people over 50 years old playing many games. But, I would still say both.
