It's still a Kitano film. You never really said that he had to direct them.

Zatoichi has samurais and severed limbs though so it's automatically the best.

Actually, now I think about it, it was f---ing amazing, the work of a film-making genius. So many ideas, more than some directors entire careers. Two weeks later I'm still thinking about it.

I've seen Han-Bi, it's ok.

He didn't direct BR though. So the best film that he acted in and directed is sonatine imo.
