For an 11yr old boy, it was a tome of awesome sci-fi robots.
PDFs are horrible (for manuals).
Manuals are good - instead of a PDF.

Funny manual too, actually. Nice touch, as so many publishers are cutting it out in favour of eManuals. (Is that even a word? Internet word? Apple word?)

But yeah, I have a system with two lots of wind thingies / pressure pads. If they aren't caught by the first sensors, the second sensors detect them and send them back into the first sensors, which throw them out.

I have a similar device riggd up at my uni house, but when the pressure pad is pressed, a spiked wall slides down behind the unwanted guest and the wind turbine does the rest.

An easy combo to use. Build wind turbines to line up with your main entrance(s), connect them up to the pressure pad things that you should build as close as you can to the main doors. When activated, any spy or tourist who foolishly walks in to your base, should be blown right back out again.
It doesn't work all the time, but it's simple to build and keeps the amount of unwanted guests to a minimum.
