I recently bought a scart adaptor which allows you to put 5 devices into a TV with only 1 scart socket. I was just wondering, is it normal that the sound is pants and picture really dull?

I got a JVC one from dixons, the picture is pin sharp, but it cost £20.

I don't think they're made to look pretty.

I got a cheap one in my bedroom which I never use, it's a 2 scart thing, with no switch, which I got for about a fiver from the inshops terrible picture.

Allthough we've got an expensive one downstairs that has a switch and look pretty, very very good picture.

I've seen one in WHS which has 5 sockets and has a switch for each one. It's 10 quid, I think.

Rubbish.

Although we've got a three-split one downstairs with a switch for each lead and that's works nicely. So just don't get a cheap one without a switch.

Could just be faulty.

A five-way scart splitter? I was gona buy one of those... better not then.

yup. they are crap.

Only work well if you have only one thing connected which kind of defeats the point of having one.
