Anyone have any reccomendations for pain killers which are particularly effective for severe brusing?

Darn Kittens caused me to fall down the stairs last night, but I'm currently working through the pain (had to give an important presentation today) and it's starting to get to me.

and the revolution starts. Soon enough they'll have kicked you out the house and it'll just be them and Lucy living the good life with you staring in through the window on a rainy winter night with a tear rolling down your cheek

Well, actually it wasn't entirely there fault. One of them soilt their water, which I stood in on my way up the stairs, forgot my sock was wet on the way down, until I was lying in a pile of the floor.

LJ covered her head and ran away, which was a lot of use.

Nice to know you can rely on her when you're in pain

That was while I was falling. Afterwards she was a bit more use (not much), as I was lying in a crumpled heap on the floor, she phoned her mother.

Probably to laugh at you and your inability to walk down some stairs, women are cruel like that

The phone call started off all concerned, then descended into hilarity. Mother-in-laws are particularly cruel. The whole time I lay there in pain.

Nope. Tried to pull me up, when I was quite happy staying in my heap until I wanted to try moving.
