I was at the Memorial Stadium (the home of the wonderful Bristol Rovers Football Club) on Tuesday to watch my team get beaten 2-1 by Southend. The next leg of the tournament is on the 8th March - who d'ya reckon will win it?
Although it pains me to say it, Rovers are likely to be thrashed 4-0, unless their manager actually bothers to think about going to the finals.

I went to the game in Bristol, very cold night, good result for Southend away from home

And I thought all season ticket holders for Bristol Rovers were "ROVERS TIL THEY DIE!".
sure we have a rubbish team, but its fun to watch kids playing footie (or are they men - league 2 surely is the pits). Glad Woking are doing OK, but once a gashead, always a gashead!

I used to own a season ticket for bristol rovers.
But after many years of crap, I moved to Newport and now concentrate on my hometown who win, WOKING :D

Yeah, too many meaningless cups. But hey, isn't it nice to have another credit to a team's name. I mean Bristol Rovers seem to have all the bad luck!
I can't remember who my beloved Woking got knocked out by in the first round. I think it was Leyton Orient.
Personally I think the competition is a load of crap now that the Conference also has the GLS Cup. It all becomes one big drag. There's too many meaningless cups.
