Joking aside, I really wouldn't mind if this prompted WWIII - replete with missile strikes in all major cities.
To see weeping people realising they've wasted their lives on television and celebrity gossip mags and trivial jobs as they cling to each other crying "Why? Why?".
Why?
Because more people voted for Big Brother 4 than at the election.
Because people actually give a toss what "J-Lo" does.
Because people think immigration is anything other than chasing the latest monster with burning torches
Because people think that trinkets & baubles on a mantelpiece matter
Because the NSPCC and Cancer Research are charity funded
Because I want to see the sun blackened and stand there laughing at people scrabbling after bank notes eddying in the aftermath of the 300mph gales that will follow the blinding explosions.
Because Jamie Oliver is allowed to be a role model
Because Che Guevara has become a t-shirt icon
Because I can't have an island with a deathlaser
