I want to future proof my system a bit, at the moment my Taurus X is holding up very well but I have suspicions I am giving it too much of a work load. In a few months I am thinking of getting an SLI motherboard with a 3500+ Winchester. I will probably not use the SLI until I have enough money to buy another graphics card. Also remember that I will have numerous devices like fans, lights etc to cater for.

I am thinking about the Hiper Type R www.3dvelocity.com/reviews/hiper_type-r/type-r.htm
Or
The Tagan I-XEYE www.xtremecomputing.co.uk/review.php?id=98&page=2

I am stuck between the two the Hiper comes with quite a few novelty extras but on the other hand if know the build quality and reliability of Tagan
Any other suggestions are welcome.

Hmm... did some reading up and looking around...

Looks like the maximum load on the +12v line is 24A.

I had two Hiperpower PSU's die on me, and glowing fans can die in a hole. So neither, I guess.
