I need a bit of advice. I don't know whether to get a PS2, a Dreamcast, or wait until the XBox is released and get that. Im obviously not loaded with cash, and would just like to know what you think is the best deal for money, although I can afford a PS2 or XBox, I dont really wanna blow all my money away on it if you guys think it probably a better idea to get a cheaper Dreamcast.

What would you do?

Yes lets forget the Gamecube which is said to be cheaper (In price not quality) than all the others, and the Gameboy ADvance which IS cheaper than all the others with much more gameplay!

If you dont have much cash, buy a DC, you can get them now really cheap!

This should tide you over until the XBox has been out a while and has been reduced in price.

Thats what i plan to do anyway.....

Don't get an X-box. It will be the biggest mistake of your gaming life. Go for PS2, or DC

DC it is then. I did want to get a DC but just wanted to check with everyone else as you know more about the console than I do. Thanks.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the Gamecube, but I don't really want one of them. I probably will get a GBA as well though.

Thanks people,
Swish

Since you may be waiting for the release of the X-Box before you buy...

I'd stick around, theres gonna be quite a few changes going on between the big three before anything comes close to being sorted...

These are machines that are gonna cost between 200-300 quid, you wanna make sure your not going to feel suckered if you make the wrong choice for you.

Chances are i'll get an XBox, but the way looking at it is this:

MY DC has enough good games out/coming out to last me until all three consoles, PS2/ 'Cube/ XBox, have all been around a while.

By the time i need to get a new machine the others will have come down in price, and some big name games will be released. I can then make an informed decision on what to get next.

Its between the X-Box and GC for me...

I'm currently leaning toward the GC...

Since life without the new Mario Kart will be too hard to bear... :) ...

but it all depends on how the good the games finally turn out to be...

(so far all we have seen is graphics, I'm more interested inhow they play)

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Just a quick note to say thanks for a very good service ... in fact excellent service..
