Is there a script, which, once modified, can alter things such as images and stylesheets on refreshes?
Also - for Content Management, what languages / tutorials are there? I mean, would you just have a script that enters any text into databases, catagorizing them?
Up 'til know, I've always simply uploaded pages using good ol' FTP. But now MT is becoming all expensive, and WordPress isn't pressing my buttons, I was thinking of imposing my own CMSystem, to celebrate my new site.

I'm building a CMS at the moment. They can be very complex. It depends what exactly you want it to do. If you just want to upload files, then it can be fairly simple, but you still need to think about login and permissions.
