It is 5/6 years old and it works ok. i have had some problems with it but its not bad. Now it is starting to go wrong tho but it is my dads and he was going to get the cd drive untill he gets a new one.

You mean its an old Tiny PC and it actually works...most of theirs break within 1-3 years of purchase...i know this from first hand experience.

Every CD drive from when they were first produced I've seen has standard size only the depth will vary.
Is it that the tray will not eject, because you can get round that.
If it's a depth problem Sony produce some shallow drives.
