I was going to get a small PSTwo on its release date, but held it off and kept the money, thinking I saved some to invest elsewhere. Well, turns out I could have bought one then, still gone through fine on my budget and sell it now on ebay - due to the stock shortages, they're up for sale at £200+. Damnnnn
The new PS2s look good from the side, but not from the front/top. The flip top isn't nice, and the shiny black strip across it spoils the design.
True many eBay-er are idiots. I think the new Xbox looks horrible anyway, people would probably spit on it instead of bidding. The new PS2's are okay though. You cant get one from anywhere?
Though some bidders are stupid. One PS2 went for £200, as sealed... another £235; wasn't sealed, but had every word in capitals with killer words such as "1 DAY" "RARE" etc.
What's even worse is that my other investment from a few months back, the crystal Xbox, which was supposed to become rare by Christmas seeing as they "stopped" selling them, hence the value of it going up, has come back with a price cut and is now widely available, despite being called a "limited edition". Hindsight sucks.
