split a movie into 'audio' and 'video'.
Have movie want it on DVD and when you go to 'DVD-video' there is 2 folders: 'AUDIO_TS' and 'VIDEO_TS' so what programme should I use to split it. The movie is avi. format and I am using Nero 6 Ultra Edition.

Download dvd shrink for free, (look up in google) rip your movie, and check the box that says; "create AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS subfolders."

VirtuaDub lets you export video and audio seperately i think mate.

I use cucusoft Avi to DVD, really easy to do and creates the right mpeg files for you. Then use TMPGEnc to create the DVD files and burn with nero.

I use TMPGEnc dvd author, you can download a free trial.

You dont need to split it, the audio_ts folder should always be empty. You will have to convert it to mpeg then author it though.

Quicktime pro can do this in a SNAP.

Get a serial off kazaa or WHATEVER and register normal QUICKTIME.

EASY.
