I've had this Dell for about 2 years now and it's not all that slow but I'm thinking of buying a newer one this year (not going to build one because I can't be bothered) it's not that bad it works fine, what I HATE this bloody PLASTIC CASE. Why couldn't stay just use the traditional more durable metal cases?!

Anyway what I need to know is will PCI Express be mainstream by near the end of year? Also do you guys recommend any PC retailers other than Dell (please)
so I can bookmark their sites for later in the year.

Also I would upgrade the current PC but if PCI express is eventually going to take over AGP then I might aswell buy a new one with it, a new case, new parts etc. I am planning for the future not now by the way like July/August.
Currently I can get a 3.4ghz one with PCI Express and a X700 Pro, 1gig RAM, 2x 80gb SATA drives, SB Audigy 7.1 ZS (if my research tells me that the onboard sound is adequate I won't bother with this) and a DVD R-W all for £851 including VAT but delivery probably brings it up to £880, if I wait I may be able to get a X800 and 3.6 for the same price by the time it's July/August.

Nah that was just a reason why I don't want another Dell.

You could save yourself a hell of a lot of money and just buy a new case....if you don't wanna do it yourself, you could pay someone to do it for you.

If you're happy with the PC, it doesn't make much sense to buy a new PC just to get a nicer case...plus, this way, you can have any case you want.

Hmm is this PCman Computers any good? They don't sell PCI Express PC's yet but they seem to have better built PC's and Customer Services.
