On BBC 3 tonight at 1:25 am (or tomorrow morning for the pedantic of you).
For those of you who know of the Stone Roses or are just interested in band politics in general can hear about the story of them and their manager.
A very important lesson in knowing what you sign yourself in for.

For the rest of you, it's a chance to meet Gareth Evans himself.
A real life David Brent.
Nope, he doesn't go as far to do the dance but it give you enough to imagine:

Ex-Hairdresser/businessman, jumping into the music industry "hip" bandwagon... through E'd out Madchester... it's uncanny! :-D

Argh! You should've recorded it or something.
Essential watching for any Stone Roses fan, although it might make you a little angry at the manager.

As to Ian Brown, Solarized is very good but so far he's peaked with MOTS! :-)

(If anyone's still reading, TURN ON THE TV. YOU'RE MISSING IT AS WE SPEAK! :-P)

My bad! :-S

BBC 3.
Which kind of limits it to digital veiwers.
Isn't digital going to become standard in the next 2-3 years?
These "freeview" sets are supposed to be the first, and then gradually the BBC will phase out analogue broadcasting and everything will be on digital.

It's the same Doc, being repeated.
Hence the anti-social hours.
If you missed it the first time round, now'd be a good time to grab it.

The things the guy says does make you cringe but atleast they always let Mani get the last word. :-)

I've seen a show on the Stone Roses and the spat with their manager before - he was a right tool. He organised that festival on the island...the island that promptly started vanishing as the tide rose in the evening, and he thought the Roses should have been grateful for him! They were nothing without him...so he says. I wouldn't be surprised if one day he claims to have played all the instruments on the albums.
