When are studios going to stop throwing cash at this talentless hack?
I swear, if he could get away with it he'd make a movie of Tetris.
[edit] Oh god. I've just checked his IMDB entry and he's got the rights to "farCry"
*slam*. *slam*. *slam*. *slam*. *slam*. *slam*. That's my face being mashed off the desk in front of me..........

Not exactly riveting, but more interesting than you might at first think.
As for Bloodrayne... urghhh... Loken is nothing like Rayne.
Oh, and what a surprise! Michelle Rodgriguez stars in another game related movie.

I know the history behind Tetris, and yes, it's quite interesting.
I'm talking about Uwe Boll here. With apologies to Charlie Brooker, Bolls tetris script would feature a shadowy government department, strange blocks of shapes falling from the sky, and disapearing in a sinister way when they make a line. Oh, and an insane amount of voiceover narration, a heavy reliance on the latest already dated cinema techniques, and ham fisted characters and dialogue.
She's hot.
Sounds like a pornstar.
> Interview with him on IGN
HaHa, this made me laugh:
"IGN FILMFORCE: Hey Uwe.
UWE BOLL: I'm driving to Wilshire Boulevard to go to an agency. I wanted to go to the press screening, but Lions Gate said, 'Press don't want to talk to the director.' It was funny. I've never heard this before. They said the director always tries to sell [and] press don't want this… So I accepted it.
IGNFF: So you were planning to come to the screening last night?
BOLL: (Laughs) I was not allowed to come"
Pity the guy can't take a hint, he doesn't seem to want to accept that he's a bad director and hasn't accepted that his skills are somewhat lacking, even going as far as to compare himself with James Cameron and Quentin Tarantino.
Hopefully Alone in the Dark will go some way to ending his dismal career. It cost $20million to make and has so far only made $3million at the box office in the US. Pretty rubbish considering it's a much wider release than his last effort.
He's doing Dungeon Siege next, which has the potential to be the only movie to make Dungeons & Dragons look like Lord of the Rings.
