Which episode of Max and Paddy did he appear in?

And his scriptwriting for Dr Who. And his narration of some R4 series'.

And being in Nighty Night. And the christawful remakes of Randall and Hopkirk.

And...actually, I don't know of any more stuff he's been in post-League.

But yeah, Kilgore is right; they've all been busy post-league.

Definitly not sure about this movie.

The plot summary says the characters have "to find a way into the real world and confront their creators"

I've never found these types of things to work. They're always pretty poor and knowingly self referential. A well trodden path too.

[edit]Actually, King writing himself into the "Dark Tower" series worked brilliantly.

Still, I'll reserve judgement until I see it, I'm just not really excited about it. Loved the series, especially the increasingly uncomfortable third.

Excepting, of course, Jeremy's stellar voiceover work for the Beeb's bitesize revision progs.

And Steve being the German doctor in that (I think possibly) Agatha Christie thing.

At least Reece is trying to remain a little bit credible showing up in Vic and Bob's Catterick and Max and Paddy.

For me every series was equally superb. I'm glad they ended it at 3 though as I can't really see they could have gone on any longer without the jokes becoming a bit stale.

I fear though that the film is just a last ditch stand to get some more money out the series. It's not really like any of them have had much work of any worth since the League ended.

Fingers crossed though, it might suprise me.

Series 3 was a deliberate break from the norm.

Half 'quitting while you're ahead' and half 'not pandering to what people want you to do but doing what you yourself want to do'.

They kept their comic integrity by not milking it for a straight third series.

Series 3 was a good solid attempt.

Not sure if it surpassed the previous ones. But good all the same.
