A multitap is to be launched for the console, and some games will enable 8 players on screen at once.
You will definitely need a big TV to get the most out of that!
Not that it will matter on the Gamecube.
As for the Multitap, there are planty of games with lots of players on one screen.
Wrestling, Smash Brothers, Sports games and games like them.
I'm not sure if split screen would work as well.
A three by three grid leaving a center free for something else?
Four by two, on a widescreen telly?
Or are there similar features to micro machines - all eight on the same screen somehow?
