I have more than 300 posts and 7500 words, will I become a regular or is there a time limit also??

nearly there its alot of hard work just another 2000 words then i will have a purple name in stead of a red one sad really but then it helps if every ones the same purple and that sickky colour

No disrespect to you Bonus, but Iguana showed it as well that it doesnt take long to rack up the number of posts and words needed.

I feel a 30 day time limit would be about right, as it would get rid of the kind of people that we dont really want here. The sort that complain about being a newbie. The sort of people we like here are people that enjoy chatting/discussing, and dont really care about the newbie/regular thing.

I recommended 15 days the other day!!

I was thinking about a time limit as well, to become a regular i mean.

Bonus has shown that you can become a regular in 4 days, which doesnt really seem long enough.

I think they would have to be around for at least 30 days, and do a number of posts and words as well.

Now a regular after 4 dyas in the FOG, wow!!

PHP can't be timed to do an action like c++ can, it can only be activated every time someone visits a page. It would be stupidly slow to search for regulars everytime there's a page request, so it'll be set up to do it one the first post after midnight
