christina aguilera- stripped
avril- let go
avril- under my skin
Metallica- Master Of Puppets
Rainbow- Rising
Judas Priest- Sad Wings Of Destiny
Black Sabbath- Paranoid
Led Zeppelin- Led Zeppelin IV
UFO- Lights Out
Def Leppard- Pyromania
Deep Purple- Machine Head
Iron Maiden- The Number Of The Beast
Nirvana- Nevermind
Basically, the cream of 70s and 80s hard rock and metal, plus Nirvana. Out of them all, Master Of Puppets probably wins though- masterpiece absolut.
Nevermind and In Utero destroy for the simple fact that they sound so much more complete. They're good if you've not heard much by a band before, but they're usaully Best Of albums are just cash-ins with 1 unreleased purchase incentive track.
Well, whatever. For me an album captures one specific style or moment or whatever, just sounds a bit jumbled when they're slurred into one. BUt I'm weird.
> Best of albums suck. They're just... not right.
The Nirvana - Nirvana album/compilation was good.
Best of Robbie Williams.
It's just a blank CD.
> Best album ever in my opinion is OK Computer by Radiohead.
I'd agree - that's the best "album" ever, but only if you discount "Best Of" albums.
> Rise against - Siren song of the counter culture
/The Offspring - Ixnay on the hombre
I still have a soft spot for it.
Foolio.
> Aha, such little taste.
