"Bossie To Fight Mack Star Morrison

Fallen soccer star Mark Bosnich is to fight soul singer Mark Morrison in a new reality TV show, according to the Mirror.

Morrison, famous for his 90s hit Return Of The Mack, says he can't wait to take on the former Chelsea goalie in BBC3's The Fight.

"I'm looking forward to this. I am gonna take Bosnich on and beat him," he crowed.

But the pint-sized singer may struggle against the powerful Aussie, who stands at well over 6ft.

However, Sophie Anderton's ex Bossie, 33, also admitted he is desperate to get in the ring.

Bosnich, sacked by the Blues for using drugs in 2002, said: "This fight means everything to me.

"I can't wait to get training, to get in the ring, to win and to prove people wrong about me."

Bosnich recently appeared on Sky One hit show The Match.

The two will begin a gruelling training programme shortly under Amateur Boxing Association rules.

Both have had a troubled past. Bosnich has had well publicised drugs problems while Morrison served three months in prison for threatening a cop."

Morrison is going to take a pasting - anyone else fancy taking on a former Premiership goalie?

It is a little known fact* that many artists have taken the 'coat' mantle prior to Mark 'The Mac' Morrison, and yet they all suffered from becoming less than famous. Ah, such was the fate of Donnie 'the Duffle' Donaldson that he was not able to make a good pop career outside of Scotland. Lest we forget the dismal career of Pete 'The Parker' Parkinson or one hit wonder, Les 'Leather Jacket' Johnson, who's only hit song was big in Scandinavia due to a cultural misunderstanding.

A lesson to be learned by any recording artist bearing the name of a coat, perhaps?

*the possibility of being little known is perhaps encouraged by the fact that these facts were in fact completely fabricated by the author of the piece.

If you're going to choose to be named after a coat, you might at least make it a good one.

I ache to see this jumped-up one hit wonder take a severe beating. RnB sensation? B*ll*cks. He's the least credible Soul Sensation since MC Hammer.

Interesting 'Mack' Fact #2.

The police were called to his house to investigate violent noises reported by the worried neighbours. They found that Morrison was merely having a loud 'session' with his woman.

"This will prove people wrong about me"

I'm pretty sure people were saying you were a crap keeper and a coke-addled drug-hound, not that you couldn't fight, you drongo. Although I'll be backing him to rearrange 'The Mack's face.

Interesting 'Mack' Fact #1: He sent a lookalike to do his first stint of community service.
