Comedy characters can be pretty crap especially when overdone in a particularly unfunny way. It's what killed off Harry Enfield once Whitehouse stopped writing half of his stuff.

Hedfix why don't you like these, are you more of a last of a summer wine type of fan or do you just not understand comedy.

It was crap, always was crap. Nothing decent was put up against it in the schedules. It humour mianly stemmed from the same sort of stuff as Men Behaving Badly.

The sad state of comedy on channel 4. Ooooh let's get Green Wing out next and drag 15 mins of comedy into an HOUR LONG SHOW.

Nevermind now there's Simpson's episodes that everyone's seen before and every chav and his dog will watch again whilst stuffing their faces with ugly sticks.

Father Ted
Black Books
Phil Kay (not Peter Kay he's s***e)
Spaced

More things like those please and less cack like Smack The Pony ahahahaha no not funny in the slightest.

It also sort of kind of lost it when those two woman teachers just disappeared. Series two was a little weird when Simon went but just one character being written out was alright.

Then the next series showed up with a whole host of characters missing...
When you've spent two series getting to know characters, just randomly losing a few does put on a serious knock.

Indeed. They've got the second series of it on in New Zealand at the moment. So I managed to see some great bits when I was out there.
