Connection doesn't start up until tomorrow.

I forgot my parents had a phone in their room - plugged in without a filter it made the modem not work.

So now I'm greased.

If the light is flashing then your ADSL line is not yet active. Wait another 24 Hours and then try again.

My feelings are justified, it seems.

Anyone want to help me out here?
The ADSL light keeps flashing on and off, but it's supposed to stay on. And when I try to connect it says "Could not negotiate a connection with the remote PPP server. Please verify your settings and try again."

And I have verily verified the asses off my settings, until they bled and wept for mercy. And I have tried again, and again, and again. Numerous restarts and unintalling / reinstallings later ... still no chunky band.

If the modem has a light/indicator that says 'ADSL' and it sort of looks like it is on (Green or something) then you should plug it in and try it. There is no harm in trying.

My Demon Broadband was activated around 4 days before it was 'supposed' to.

Edit: That makes no sense.
Just try it out anyway.

Try it now. My Pipex line was active 3 days before the advised date.

What will your ISP be?
