I fancied reading 1984 again so I bought a copy cheap in Fopp this morning, I was going to get Animal Farm as well but never had enough spare cash.

I then went to my union shop and bought The Independant (for 20p) in which the sexy lady behind the till gave me my free copy of.... dada Animal Farm.

So, I now have two brand spanking new copies of my favourite (cliche ya) books for £3.19.

If you like 1984 because of its 'Dystopia' setting you should try and get a copy of Aldous Huxley's 'Brave New World' personally I thought it was better than 1984 - but both books are excellent.
Im still to read Animal Farm, it is said to be better than 1984.

I bought them both on ebay rather cheaply.

Both pure classics.

My 1984 has pages falling out though, I'm not impressed.

No, it came with the paper.

That was already reduced and a free non-crappy Animal Farm. I think, maybe the Uni did give me it.

Our union shop is always stuffed full of people, quicker just to buy stuff in town.
