The "General Games Chat" forum, which includes Retro Game Reviews, has been archived and is now read-only. You cannot post here or create a new thread or review on this forum.
Here's some ideas to help get round the problems that have surfaced:
1). Adjust GAD, so on certain days (different all the time), only certain forums will be taken into account. Eg, Monday only 'Cube and PS2 forums or something. This will encourgae people to post in other forums, and encourage other people to read other forums. Give advance notice obviously.
2). Reduce the number of forums. In my opinon there are a few too many. How about cutting them down, so instead of PSX and PS2 as two different forums, you just have a Sony Forum. Same for Nintendo etc.
3). Delete/move topics that are in the wrong place, eg football result topics etc. People will soon get the message!

Yeah but then you'd have the whole "Drunk on power" thing.
If any one else some suggestions the can post them here.
Perhaps some non-staff moderators would be a good idea. You wouldn't have to pay them that way, and provided you only let responsible forum members have mod privelidges (eg Notables) then it could work quite nicely.
