So many internet based companies have appeared out of nowhere to become large, booming business’. This is not because of luck; it’s because of one factor that these companies possess, and that is a successful affiliation set-up. I know you have an affiliation set-up but, apart from the good people out there who recognise the good work you do, not many people are going to use it because, to be blunt, they are not getting anything in return.
The successful affiliation set-ups all give the person who points them in their direction, a little something in return. Now this is never anything extravagant, in most cases, it’s about 5p for every click, but handing out money here there and everywhere is not just the only option available to you.
Maybe you could set something up along the lines of, if a certain amount of people get to one of your sites through there own site, they get a free ready. I know this doesn’t sound much but its amazing how many people will adopt and take part in your affiliation set-up if they are getting something in return.

Well, I'm no expert, but on some sites, they use an IP counter or something which only allows one click from the same computer every 24 hours. This would neutralise the main problem of someone just sitting on their computer all day, just clicking the banner, to notch up their total clicks.
Problem is, as I said, I'm no expert so I have no idea how long this would take.
You could also have a competition where the person with the highest amount of clicks every six months, gets a free game or DVD. This would also get a lot more people involved and would get a substantial amount of people coming to your site.

Well I agree that this would be great, but we can't spend our time here administering a complicated scheme and sending out Reddies. Also, it would be open to abuse because people could click away at their own site, and this might be tricky to detect.
But I'll take the comment on board, because it would be nice to find a logical solution for this.

Well I agree that this would be great, but we can't spend our time here administering a complicated scheme and sending out Reddies. Also, it would be open to abuse because people could click away at their own site, and this might be tricky to detect.
