halo a great game tell me what all you guys out there think of it

It's not a rumour, it's been confirmed that there is a Halo movie. At the moment it's all a bit up in the air, because Fox have dropped out of funding it. They do have Peter Jackson producing it however, so I don't see it being a typically bad video game based movie.

Halo was awesome. Anyone who disagrees will be killed... er I mean has the right to disagree but is clearly a moron. It had a great single player, and ok it did have some flaws but for most of the game, was truly stupendous. Multiplayer was a lot of fun, but was shown to be lacking when Halo 2 came out.

Halo 2 didn't have an as engrossing single player campaign, but it did have a bunch of neat new things in it, and one of the greatest multiplayer components of a game ever. I've racked up a lot of time on Halo 2 - in fact it's the only game I've ever gone to a LAN party for.

Halo 3 makes me tingly. That says it all. But then so does Halo Wars, or whatever the RTS game based on Halo is going to be called. I might go and have a lie down now...

There are Rumours, but Wikipedia (Wikipedia link) talks about the film :)

I've enjoyed both games. I played them with my younger brother. As soon as he got the game we would spend a few hours each day playing it until we completed it. Though after we've finished we tend not to play the game again. Although I did play the second one again last month when I was bored. Quite enjoyed it.

Looking forward to the third one. Arent they trying to make a movie based on Halo?
