Nintendo needed to do something amazing at this years E3 show. Fierce competition from Sony's Playstation and Microsoft's X-Box meant that Nintendo had to do something extra special at E3 to keep customers interested. Customers like me.
When I found out that the first day of E3 was today I searched the whole web to find any latest t**-bits of information and screenshots I could find. After coming up with not much at www.nintendo.com I remembered the Upwire. Thanks to them I found my way here. I was in for a shock. This is the ONE site on the whole net that I could find with any in-game graphics and videos of Nintendo Gamecube games, and bioy do they look good!
Firstly, Super Smash Brothers-Melee. I was a huge fan of the first game. After seeing the graphics from this game I have put it right at the top of my 'Must Buy' list. If the gameplay can match the graphics (and hopefully if the battles are in full 3D!) then this will easily topple the likes of Tekken and POwer Stone 2 to become the greatest Beat-Em-Up of all time, and with new modes from the original if you don't go out and buy this you must be insane!
Wave Race. I was excited by this. I knew what the machine was capable of, and knew that graphically this would be amazing. If the gameplay can match/better that of the first Wave Race game then this will be another game on my 'Must Buy' list.
There have been many other games shown, but the one that takes the biscuit, as you have rightly pointed out, is Starfox Adventures: Dinosaur Planet. When I heard that the new Starfox game would not be a clone of Lylat Wars then I was slightly disappointed. I loved that game. Fortunately by the screenshots and video I've seen I definitely like the looks of what I see! I didn't thtnk that Fox McCloud in an adventure game would work, but by the looks of this I may just have to eat my hat! And who said that Nintendo were dead?!

Check the latest News at the Upwire for footage of Starfox Adventures: Dinosaur Planet. Also, the new games section is under Gamecube stuff somewhere, I think I found it from the Upwire too. I found everything else from reliable sources. ie: N64 Magazine and www.nintendo.com
