Anyone seen this? I missed it at the cinemas and I was thinking of grabbing the DVD from play but I won't bother if it's complete tripe!
Not bad I thought. Took a whilt to really pick up on the action side of things but when it did I found it rather enjoyable. A rather solid film in most parts. Worth getting and if youpick it up on import it could well be cheaper. I paid about £9 for mine and that was about two months ago.
Got this yesturday and it was pretty good, sure the story wasn't all that but for an action film it was pretty decent. 7/10 for me.

How was Travolta's performance? I quite enjoyed watching his roles in Face off and Swordfish.
It's alright, enough violent action sequences to keep me happy, but it was spoilt by the painfully unfunny comedy double act by two of 'The Punishers' neighbours. Their scenes where utterly pointless and could have been replaced by more limb breaking carnage.
Still, not as bad as some critics claimed it to be.

Apparently it's a leave-brain-outside flick - enjoyable if you don't expect too much of it.
