There is a way of hiding the source code for a website. Notepad has a limit of something like 10,000 lines, so if you put enough blank lines it at the start then it exceeds the maximum size of Notepad, so you just see a blank screen.
But seriously, I had the same issue. It's got something to do with... Umm...

Try cleaning your cache, history, tempory files etc...
