"Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back"
This movie is the finale to Smith's New Jersey series and contains ALL the main characters from Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy and Dogma.
Which means some actors playing 2 or 3 roles.
I'm looking forward to seeing Jason Lee as Brodie and Banky, Matt Damon as Holden and Shannon "The Buttman" and, of course, the dastardly duo themselves, Jay and Silent Bob.
This will be a fantastic movie and one that everyone raves about, finally Smith will have the respect and audience he deserves.
Oh, and I've read the script he did for Superman Lives, and they should have stuck with it instead of passing on it.
"Snootchie Bootchies? Who talks like that? That is f**king baby talk man.."
I have Jay & Silent Bob Action Figures, and the trailer for the new one.
Characters reappearing:
Brodie/Banky, Alyssa Jones, Hooper X (Black Rage! Black Rage!), Holden/Shannon, Will Hunting, Gill /Dante, Jay, Silent Bob, Alanis Morissette (surprise cameo) and many many others.
Basic plot (no spoilers)
Jay and Bob discover that Banky has sold his rights to the Bluntman and Chronic comic (based on Jay and Bob) and is being made into a movie.
They set off to Hollywood to stop it being made.
From what I've seen and the bits of script I've read, it is simply brilliant.
Has cameos from Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher.
Jay and Bob have a lightsabre duel with Hamill, who has no idea how to use them.
