Well, its pretty much 99.9% certain of going through tomorrow morning.

£2million is a nice little earner for Pompey when you consider Quashie is a fringe player for them.

I think if Hampton are to survive they need to get a quality centre back in as well to play with Ludekvam what with Svensson's season-long injury. So, what's the odds on Harry & Jim trying to nab a Pompey defender before the end of January?

Yus, he made his QPR debut at 16, and he's 26 now.

Bah, Amdy Faye's now gone with Yak soon to follow. I don't think selling our best players is a good strategy to stay in the Premiership.

Yes I know, O Lord Master, I was merely pointing out that not knowing who Nigel McQuashie (lol) was is hardly a good indicator of poor knowledge of the Premiership.

PS - Forest suck. :D

Hahahaha.

First days training and he's done his ligaments in. Could be out for the rest of the season.

That's not surprising Ant, he's spent most of his career outside the Premiership...

Quashie has been around for years.

I'm sure I remember him at QPR years ago. I'm sure it was him....

And he clearly wasn't a fringe player....

Ho ho ho, 1:0 even with the ref on your side.

Yus, agreed.

I always thought of him as a bench player, myself.

I feel I have a decent knowledge of the Premiership, but to be honest, until Liverpool played Portsmouth in the FA Cup last year I'd never even heard of him.

So to say that indicates a 'severe' lack of knowledge is a tad harsh.

Don't care anyway, Southampton are going down along with the Palace.

And the Brom. It's just got no chance up against those Flash mops.

I remember a very young Quashie having a spell at Nottingham Forest. He was dire.

Indeed it does.

To say McQuashie is a fringe player for Pompey is like saying Del Piero is moderately liked by Juve fans, or that Henry is "sorta" valuable to Arsenal, or that Ronaldinho is pretty good at step-overs.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
