Me? Well I really liked it. It was quite bittersweet, I kept getting the feeling that I was laughing for the sake of the films description, ie comedy. When really their wasn't to much to laugh about. The dialogue was very good. I always enjoy dialogue that isn't at all relative to a films story, just good dialogue. If you know what I mean. It was all very natural and nothing was overplayed. The acting was fabulous and the things that the characters said just seemed so realistic. The script always felt fresh, wasn't predictable. It was in fact very original. As was the story. In conclusion garden state is beautiful, morbid, feel good fun. An excellent debut by Zach Braff. A must see imo.
