Although, perhaps he didn't throw it - perhaps Rooney doing that to his ears made them act as some sort of signal receiver...thingy, and caused the phone to fly from the guys hands.

Exactly how can you miss Rooney anyway? Those ears are as big as a Nasa satellite on their own let alone his barrel shaped body.

Surely, that's the ONE thing in your possesion on match day (besides cash, excluding 2ps) you would NOT won't to lose. I know just how annoying mobile phones these days, but either way you look at it, the person who threw it is now boogered for certain, should they wish to follow this up.
They know your number. They probably know your name. And, sure as heck, they'll find out exactly where you live.
